The Flåm Railway - One of the worlds most beautiful train rides
The railway line between Flåm and Myrdal has also been named one of the greatest achievements in engineering. The 20 km long Flåmsbana took almost 20 years to complete, from 1923 to 1940. 80% of the route has a gradient of 5.5% and there are a whole 20 tunnels - one of them even takes a 180 degree turn! After about 50 minutes, including a photo stop at Kjosfossen, just before the final destination Myrdal station.
Nærøyfjorden — The best of norwegian Fjords
We can assure you it is no coincidence that Nærøyfjord is featured on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. A fjord cruise through this narrow and beautiful fjord will give you the memory of a lifetime! It is in celebrated company with the Geirangerfjord and Bryggen in Bergen, among others. The narrow UNESCO fjord is surrounded by high mountains and small villages. Here and there, waterfalls descend from the mountainsides, making a great impression on even the most travel-friendly tourist. Nærøyfjord has been named one of the wonders of nature by CNN, and National Geographic has previously named Nærøyfjorden the title of "World's Best Untouched Destination".
