A complete ski resort

In Western Norway´s largest ski resort, you'll find family-friendly slopes, trails for all difficulty levels, parks, ski cross tracks, and wonderful off-piste terrain. Mom, dad, and the kids are all set for a perfect ski holiday together.

The children's area is located right at the ski resorts base, with easy access from parking, apartments, and Myrkdalen Hotel. It features a slow-moving conveyor belt for the youngest skiers, two platter lifts, three varied green slopes, and 'Reveparken', which consists of simple and playful park elements.

In Myrkdalen, everything is conveniently located in one place. Leave the car parked for the entire winter holiday and enjoy your the time creating memories with the family.

Dedicated ski instructors at Myrkdalen Aktiv

All children are different, some are bold, while others are more cautious. What they all have in common is that they learn best when they are having fun. This helps them feel safe and confident, fosters a love for skiing, and motivates them to practice on the slopes.

The ski instructors and teachers at Myrkdalen Aktiv's ski school are trained through The Norwegian Ski School. They have a variety of techniques that make skiing enjoyable.

Food for everyone

A love for food and the use of local ingredients characterize the kitchen at Myrkdalen Hotel. Dishes are made from scratch, and many ingredients are supplied by local farmers.

At the family restaurant Tunet, you can enjoy both pasta dishes and the best stone-baked pizza in Western Norway.

In Restaurant Nuten, you can order delicious à la carte dishes, and of course, we have a special menu for the children.

Ski in – ski out

If you need plenty of space for the whole family, you can stay comfortably in cabins and apartments of various sizes. All units are high standard, and most offer ski-in and ski-out.

If you prefer a hotel stay, the modern Myrkdalen Hotel has a selection of larger rooms and suites suitable for families. You can also book two standard rooms with an adjoining door for extra space and comfort for adults and children.

We recommend stopping at the wind tunnel if you want to spend an afternoon in Voss. Here, you can fulfill the dream of flying like Superman and create a memory for life. In the centre of Voss, you will also find Vossabadet, an indoor swimming hall with three pools, a diving tower, and a slide.
