Myrkdalen Hotel offers a wide range of rooms. Whether you are a family, a group of friends or a couple you will find a room that suits your needs. In addition to standard rooms, we offer seven elegant suites, several junior suites, family rooms and 24 wheelchair-friendly rooms.

Myrkdalen Hotel has three restaurants

Good food and drink are important parts of the experience in Myrkdalen. You can choose between three different restaurants with different concepts. In Tunet, you can get stonebaked pizza, well known for its genuine Italian taste. The a la carte menu offers a selection of tasty choices. This is the place for lunch after rounds in the slopes or dinner with family and friends.

Restaurant Nuten offer a la carte with based on local produce. With views to the slopes and surrounding mountains this is the perfect place to gather in the evening. Nuten is also were you find breakfast in the morning. If you are seeking something extra, book a table in Restaurant Nuten Fondue. Fondue is made for social dinners with family or friends.

In addition to the restaurants, lunch and light meals are served at Kamben Kafé & Bar, Myrkdalsstovo, Pudder and Fjellstova Vetlebotn.

Mountain bike courses for children and adults

We offer 90 minute courses for children. During the lesson the goal is to have fun while biking and to give the children a good sense of achievement. We will use both the pumptrack and the skills course outside the hotel and will do a variety of excersises.

Chairlift and hiking

Enjoy the magnificent view from the top of the chairlift! Situated right next to Myrkdalen Hotel, the chairlift "Myrkdalsekspressen" will take you to 860 metres above sea level in an instant.

From the top you can hike to the mountain "Finnbunuten" or choose easier terrain to the summer farms "Vetlebotn" or "Mørkvesstølen". We also have a trail quiz between Vetlebotn and Helgatun with ten different questions for the whole family.

Bars with different concepts

In Myrkdalen we have three bars with different atmosphere and concepts. Salto Lobby Bar has a relaxed atmosphere, where you can lean back in soft chairs to gain energy for activities next day.

Pudder Après Ski is busy during winter. The terrace facing west is perfect for enjoying the afternoon sun with something to drink, and when the DJ starts playing you can shake loose on the dancefloor.

Next door, Kamben Kafé & Bar offer a selection of local beer and easy dishes. Here you find a relaxed atmosphere with TV-screens showing football and winter sports.

Guided hiking and biking

Join us on a guided hike or bicycle tour while you are here. Among our different options you will find something that suits you, whether you are interested in an e-bike tour to the mountain plateau Vikafjell, a full day hike with fjord view, or an easy fishing trip with the family.
