The combination of a steaming hot sauna and a refreshing bath in the fjord makes for a revitalizing break after a day filled with impressions. When you add the stunning views of the Aurlandsfjord, Fjord Sauna is also a great experience on its own.
The sauna is located on a quiet area of the quay, just a short walk from the railway station and the centre of Flåm. Here you will enjoy refreshing baths in the fjord using the ladders outside, jumping from the rooftop, or by using the hatch leading to the fjord inside the sauna.
The sauna has a spacious changing room with storage facilities for your belongings inside, while toilet and shower facilities are found nearby. The floating sauna has electric heating for sauna experiences by the quay.
Drop-in sauna experience for 1-12 people
You can only book private sauna experiences online. DURATION: 1,5 hours
Upon arrival you will be met by the Sauna Master who will give you an introduction to the concept. The Sauna Master is responsible for the safety on board and will ensure that you get a pleasant experience. He or she will also provide heat and water in the sauna and is present the whole time you are there.
Fjord Sauna does not sell food and drink on board.
You can bring light snacks to enjoy in the changing room
You are allowed to bring max. 2 units of alcohol (no liquor) on board. Avoid beverages with strong colour, such as red wine.
