The charming hotel dates back to the 1980’s, but parts of the building structure originate from a 200-year-old school that used to be located here.

Sæbø is a gem surrounded by the fjord and rugged steep mountains, with lots of activities at the doorstep. 

It is off course possible to just relax and enjoy the views to the spectacular Sunnmøre alps from the hotel’s terrace, but if you are searching for an active holiday, you are in for a treat. The area surrounding Sæbø is a large playground in the summer as well as winter. Go hiking, kayaking, rock climbing, or skiing – the choice is yours!

Restaurant Sagafjord

Marvel at the stunning landscape of the Hjørundsfjord and the Sunnmøre Alps from the terrace outside while you enjoy refreshments from the bar or a delicious meal. The à la carte menu varies depending on the season as it is based on local ingredients and produce. In the lounge, you can relax in front of the fireplace, while on the outside terrace you can enjoy the proximity of the wild nature.

Dinner: Every day 19:00 – 21:00

There are 40 comfortable rooms spread around the main building and traditional wooden lodges in the yard. Each room is distinguished by its own unique charm and offers comfort and unforgettable views.

Suite: Comfortable and spacious double rooms with view of the fjord or the mountains. Relax area and private balcony.

Superior room: Comfortable rooms with mountain view in the main building.

Double rooms: Cosy standard double rooms in the main building or in the charming wooden lodges at the yard.

Single rooms: Standard single rooms with charm.

All rooms are equipped with nespresso coffee machine and TV. 6 of the double rooms have space for extra beds, and 3 of the suites have space for 2 extra beds.
