Rent Your Bike at Finse
Cycling the Rallarvegen, or the Navvies Road, is a classic in Norway. The most popular leg goes from Finse at 1222 metres above sea level to Flåm by the fjord.
As Finse is only accessible by train, renting a bike there is the easiest way to do it. When booking in advance, all you need to do is pick it up when you get to Finse and deliver it upon arrival to Flåm.

Practical Information
Please note:
- All groups receive a repair kit and pump when picking up bikes.
- We strongly recommend pre-booking all accessories (bags, helmets, etc.). If available, you can rent them on-site, but they are often fully booked.
- Remember that the weather can change quickly in the mountains, and you need to be dressed for all types of weather.
Bike Pick-up and Drop-off:
- Finse Bike Rental is located in the old train maintance building. It's the big green building on the north side of the train tracks (opposite of the hotel). Please use designated crossing when you cross the train tracks.
- If you need to change pick-up time, please inform us min. 24 hours prior to arrival.
- Return the bike in Flåm, next to the Flåm Railway Museum.
- All bikes must be returned by 18:00 the same day.
