Opening Hours and Piste Map

In Myrkdalen you will find everything from family-friendly green runs, long blue runs for beginners and more demanding black pistes for the most experienced. See opening times and trail map with description below.

Opening Hours

We open as soon as there is enough snow in the mountains!

Lifts

  • Before November 28, 2025: Open weekends only (if enough snow)
  • November 28, 2025 – April 26, 2026: Open every day (if enough snow)

Lift operating hours:

  • Season start – January 31: 09:30 – 15:30
  • February – end of season: 09:30 – 16:00
  • Christmas Eve (December 24): 09:30 – 14:00

All lifts open:

  • Christmas (from December 26, weeks 52 and 1)
  • Every weekend
  • Weeks 7, 8, and 9 (winter holidays)
  • Week 14 (Easter)

Specific lifts:

  • Landsbytrekket: Friday–Sunday. Daily in weeks 5–14 from 11:00
  • Helgatuntrekket: Saturday–Sunday and during holidays
  • April 7 – April 26: Landsbytrekket and Helgatuntrekket open Saturdays and Sundays

Changes may occur!

Evening skiing

Landsbytrekket and Mikkeltrekket open until 20:00 on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from December 19 – March 28, 2026.

Extra evening skiing:

  • Christmas: December 27–30, 2025
  • Winter holiday week 7: February 11–14, 2026
  • Winter holiday weeks 8 & 9: February 18–28, 2026

Welcome Center Myrkdalsstovo (1st floor)

  • November 26, 2025 – April 26, 2026: Every day 08:00 – 17:00
  • December 19 – March 28: Fridays and Saturdays 08:00 – 18:00
  • December 27–30: 08:00 – 18:00
  • February 18–28: 08:00 – 18:00
  • Week 14 (Easter), Monday–Saturday: 08:00 – 18:00

Piste Map

24 varied slopes with all levels of difficulty
Myrkdalen has everything from family-friendly ski areas, slopes with all levels of difficulty, terrain parks, ski cross slopes to great off-piste terrain. The ski resort has a total of 9 lifts: 2 six-seater express lifts, 3 t-bar lifts, 3 disc lifts and a magic carpet for the youngest skiers.

Most slopes are wide and open – Myrkdalen is therefore a perfect place to learn to ski.
