Our facilities include fresh coffee and tea, home-made food and snacks, modern technical equipment and free parking. We take sustainability and our common future seriously, and environmentally friendly organizations may host “Green Conferences” here.

Historical and modern conference facilities

Fretheim Hotel is part of Norwegian Historic Hotels and Restaurants. Parts of the hotel and conference facilities date back to the early days, while other parts were added later. The latest extension is the hotel’s conference centre. Both the older and newer parts of the hotel feature state-of-the-art conference facilities.

The hotel offers different sized meeting and conference rooms varying from six to 180 people in a cinema setting. The smaller rooms can also be used for group work if needed.

The historical lobby functions as a lounge for Fretheimssalen, the hotel’s historic venue, while the new conference centre has its own common area next door, offering fresh coffee, tea and water at all times.

Daytime package

If you don’t need to stay overnight, this is the package for you. The package includes a fully equipped meeting room, a two-course lunch and 1–2 snacks or refreshments at a time of your choice.

Overnight package

The overnight package is our most popular package. In addition to the daytime package, dinner in our Restaurant Arven and accommodation in our standard rooms are included. If you want to show some extra appreciation to your colleagues or partners, upgrade to one of our historic rooms or junior suites.

Parking is free and chargers are available for electric vehicles.

Cheese and cider tasting

Book our cheese and cider tastingt and get ready for dinner with an introduction to some of our local culinary delights. You will get to taste 3 ciders from the Hardangerfjord and Sognefjord regions together with 3 locally produced cheeses.
