Try white water rafting in Voss

White water rafting is one of the most unique and popular summer activities in Voss. Rafting in Voss is considered to be one of the most adventurous and exciting rafting activities in Europe. Depending on the water levels in the rivers, you will paddle along either the Strandaelva or the Raundalselva rivers. These are international standard rivers and we can guarantee an unforgettable experience!

The rafting trip lasts for 3–4 hours, of which 1 –2 hours is spent on the river. Anyone in normal health and who is able to swim can participate. The minimum age limit is 15 years. Families with younger children can take part in Voss Active's Family Rafting trip

Class four rivers

Strandaelva river (approx. 8 km)
This river has nine spectacular rapids and several pretty sections. Since the river has a calmer section between the larger rapids, its classification is relatively low compared to the size of the rapids. This gives you a lot of action for your money!

Raundalselva river (approx. 7 km)
When the water levels in Strandaelva are too low for rafting, we use the Raundalselva river instead. This river runs through a beautiful and isolated valley, far away from traffic and other signs of civilisation. The crystal-clear river is known for its clean clear colour. Technically, it is rated as more challenging and is considered to be one of the more challenging rivers in Norway. However, because we have highly skilled guides, beginners can also join the trip.
