Trout fishing by boat on Opheimsvatnet is available for booking daily throughout July and August. It is a hugely popular family activity in Myrkdalen, where we tailor the trip to suit the weather and the group's preferences. We offer various options, from trout fishing in a rowing boat to high-altitude fishing on Vikafjell. The guide will confirm the final location the day before.
The trip begins with a short drive to the selected lake (5-25 minutes). We'll find a scenic spot by the water to set up camp and fish for trout using rods. The day concludes with preparing a meal from the catch, cooked over an open fire or on a camping stove.
