British mountaineering pioneer William Cecil Slingsby devoted much of his life to exploring Norway’s mountains. His curiosity, adventurous spirit and fascination with the unknown live on in the restaurant that now bears his name.

Ingredients from Northern Norway

In the kitchen, ingredients from Northern Norway meet inspiration from further afield. Produce from the fjords, mountains and inland areas comes together in familiar classics with unexpected touches. The result is food that feels both familiar and fresh, generous, honest and full of character.

The menu follows the seasons, making the most of ingredients at their best.
