Nature is always close in Lofoten. On a guided snowshoe tour, you’ll experience breathtaking landscapes and magical winter light with local guides. The tour is suitable for most people and no previous snowshoe experience is required. Along the way, you’ll learn about local history, life in the north, and Lofoten’s wildlife and nature. If conditions allow, we’ll take a short break and enjoy a warm drink.

Practical information
This tour is designed for anyone who wants to get close to nature on foot with an experienced guide. Winter weather in Lofoten can change quickly—from bright, sunny days to rain the next day—so our route is adapted to conditions. Sometimes snowshoes may be swapped for crampons, and the route adjusted. No worries—your experience will always be memorable. Snowshoes and poles are fitted before we head out.
Clothing: Dress in layers, preferably wool, and wear warm shoes with thick soles.
Meeting time: 30 minutes before departure. The tour lasts about 3 hours, depending on the chosen route.
