Northern Lights tour with photographer

Autumn, Winter
Easy

Experience the thrill of chasing one of Earth’s most magical natural phenomena: the Northern Lights

Tour description

Lofoten lies directly under the auroral oval, providing the best conditions to see the Northern Lights. As soon as it gets dark, the aurora may become visible, provided the sky is clear. In cloudy weather, we will do our best to find an area with clear skies. The main Northern Lights season runs from September to April. Our tours primarily go to the northern side of Lofoten, where the absence of artificial light and a long horizon to the north give the best chances of seeing the aurora.

The tour is suitable for anyone who wants to see and experience the Northern Lights. Along the way, you will learn more about the places we pass and what life is like in Lofoten.

Photographing the Northern Lights can be challenging, but our guide will provide all the tips you need. The guide also takes their own photos, which will be sent to you after the tour, and can show you how to capture your own Northern Lights images.

We also offer private Northern Lights tours for you and your group upon request.
