House Rules and Practical Information

All units are self-catering, meaning guests must bring their own belongings for their stay. In the kitchen, we provide a kitchen cloth, dishwashing liquid, and dishwasher tablets for your convenience.

• Towels and bed linen will be provided at check-in.
• If you have any complaints about the unit, please contact the reception within one hour.
• Kindly respect and adhere to the house rules. The unit is privately owned, and the owner appreciates when you treat the things and belongings with care.
• Pets and smoking are not allowed indoors.
• Use bed linen.
• Remove ski/snowboard boots in the hallway.
• Ski and snowboard equipment must be stored in the ski storage room - not in the hallways or inside the apartment.
• Any loss or damage to items caused by careless use or accidents must be compensated.
• Please avoid covering panel heaters.
• Please show consideration for your neighbours and help maintain peace and order in and around the apartment or cabin.
• It must be quiet after 11:00 PM.

Fee for violating house rules:

• Non-use of bed linen costs NOK 500 per bed
• Indoor pets cost NOK 2500,-
• Indoor smoking fine NOK 5000,-
• Loss of key NOK 2000,-
• Damages or failure to complete departure procedures will result in a fee assessed based on the extent.

Checklist before departure:

• Washing is automatic, but please remember to tidy up after yourselves.
• Please remove the bed linen and bring it back to Myrkdalen Hotel.
• Load all dishes into the dishwasher and start it before leaving. Ensure there is no food remaining in the refrigerator or freezer.
• Close all windows and lock all doors.
• If any equipment is missing from the unit, please inform the hotel reception.
• There is no need to remove the ashes from the fireplace or wood stove.
• Please turn the temperature on all heading down to 18 degrees.
• Take the garbage and empty bottles with you when you leave.
• We sort waste in different garbage houses in the cabin area. An overview was provided upon arrival.
• Please inspect the outdoor area for any cigarette butts and trash.
• Leave the keys at the reception by 11:00. Late check-out can be arranged with the reception for an additional fee.
