Horse Sleigh Ride
Every Thursday, you have the chance to experience a magical horse and sleigh ride in Myrkdalen! The ride takes you through snow-covered landscapes of Western Norway, while you sit snugly wrapped in warm blankets, listening to the sound of jingling bells and horseshoes on snow.
Information
This is a calm and nostalgic experience suitable for both children and adults - perfect for couples, families, or groups of friends who want to enjoy a true winter atmosphere.
You will be picked up outside Myrkdalen Hotel, and the ride lasts approximately 30 minutes. We provide blankets in the sleigh, but please dress warmly. Each sleigh holds up to 8 people.

Join us on an idyllic snowshoe trip through the snow-covered landscape in Myrkdalen. We put on our snowshoes at Myrkdalsstovo and walk into the lavvu at the wilderness camp in Årmotslia. Here, we gather around the bonfire in the lavvu and enjoy warm drinks, snacks, and storytelling about Norwegian culture and traditions before we return to Myrkdalen.
