About Salto Lobby Bar in Myrkdalen Hotel
Salto is the warm heart of Myrkdalen Hotel, open both day and night. During the daytime, Salto serves as a barista café with a strong focus on quality. Here you’ll find freshly brewed coffee, delicious pastries from Flåm Bakery, paninis, soups, and simple hot dishes. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing, a perfect place to warm up on a cold day.
When evening falls, Salto transforms into an elegant lobby bar with a carefully curated cocktail menu. You’ll find a strong focus on sparkling wines, champagne from France, and ciders from several regions of Norway, as well as selected sparkling varieties from both England and Italy, served by the glass or bottle.
Here, skilled and experienced bartenders are ready to make your desired drink. Enjoy something tasty!

Honouring the Spirit of Freestyle
The Salto Lobby Bar pays a tribute to sports and play. Voss is known for its freestyle community, and Myrkdalen has hosted several major international competitions, including the Freestyle World Championships in 2013 and the Big Air World Cup in 2016.
We have seen impressive flips in various variations on the ski slope – performed by the world's best athletes.
By adopting Salto, the Lobby Bar aims to honour the sport and play on and off the ski slopes.
