How to get to Myrkdalen
Myrkdalen is situated in the northern part of Voss municipality, just two hours from Bergen, Sogndal, and Geilo.
By train
Voss Railway Station is located on the Bergen Line, which connects Oslo and Bergen. It takes 1.5 hours to travel from Bergen and 5 hours from Oslo. You can find the train schedules at www.vy.no
Free ski bus
Make it easy and think environmentally friendly. During the winter season, you can take a free ski bus from Voss Station to Myrkdalen. The buses are coordinated with train arrivals and departures to and from Bergen and Oslo. To be guaranteed a seat on the ski bus, booking in advance is required. There is also a regular public bus service between Voss and Myrkdalen.
New for the 2025/2026 season is that a ski bus also operates from Stalheimskrysset every Saturday.

By car
Myrkdalen is located approximately two hours from Bergen and about six hours from Oslo. When traveling from Voss center, take the E16/RV13 towards Sogn. At the roundabout in Vinje, exit towards Vik/Myrkdalen. After about 9 kilometers, Myrkdalen Mountain Resort will be on the left side of RV13.
