Mindset: Responsible Behaviour, Investments and Activities

As part of our local communities, we have a responsibility to contribute to the positive development of our destinations. This extends beyond our own activities to how guests travel around, how we collaborate and how our choices affect people, nature and local communities.

Through dialogue, long-term partnerships and thoughtful choices, we aim to create memorable guest experiences while caring for local values and the natural surroundings. This can include improving the visitor experience, developing infrastructure that supports electric operations and finding ways to manage increased activity responsibly.

Good Business Practice

For us, good business practice means making thoughtful decisions and looking after our employees, guests, suppliers and the communities we are part of.

We aim for a culture of openness, respect and integrity, where employees understand their responsibilities and feel confident asking questions and speaking up if something falls short of our values and standards.

By setting clear expectations for ethical behaviour and collaboration, we work to make our values an integral part of our daily operations and the development of our business.

We want to make the most of what we already have. Good maintenance means spotting problems before they become serious. That is why we monitor our machinery closely throughout the season and address issues early.

Openness and Transparency

We aim to be an open and transparent business. We therefore share relevant information about our sustainability work and track progress through targets, indicators and continuous improvement.

Our work on the Norwegian Transparency Act, sustainability reporting and internal governance helps establish clear expectations and accountability across the business.

Whistleblowing Scheme

Norway’s best Group has established a whistleblowing scheme that allows employees and relevant business partners to report wrongdoing safely and confidentially, including anonymously.

The scheme covers permanent and temporary employees, managers, apprentices, interns, consultants, board members and other business partners. Its purpose is to provide a clear process for handling concerns and potential breaches of legislation, internal policies or ethical standards.
