Welcome to a Sami reindeer experience in Narvik. A journey into the living culture of one of Europe’s Indigenous peoples. Here, authenticity is not a show, but a way of life.
After a short bus journey from your hotel in Narvik, you will meet the gentle reindeer and have the chance to help feed them. You will soon see and feel the special bond between people and animals, maintained in Sami cultures for generations. The unspoken agreement is simple: the Sami do not own the reindeer, they look after them.
After feeding the reindeer, you will get to taste warming, traditional Sami dishes, prepared as they have been for decades. Afterwards, you will gather around the fire. Perhaps the storytelling, featuring myths, stories and personal tales passed down through generations, will be the highlight of your day?
